WATCH: Mother-to-mother support groups show the power of peer support

This brief describes the ENRICH project’s health system strengthening approach in Elgeyo Marakwet County, Kenya. It provides background on the nutrition situation in the county, barriers to the delivery of nutrition services in the health system, and ways those challenges were addressed (workforce capacity development, health information systems improvements, commodity management, and leadership and governance). Early ENRICH results showing the impact of these health system strengthening interventions are presented along with lessons learned and recommendations.
